Aldeia Manga is the first real Eco Lodge of the Cape Verde Islands. Our houses are constructed using ecological and recyclable materials: adobe, stones, wood and straw. Our swimming pond was cleared by hand and our water preparation process is conducted entirely without chemicals, 100 % ecological.

The Ribeira de Paúl or more simply, Paúl Valley, is a refuge for nature lovers and hikers. It might well be described as the green heart of the island. It’s also the greenest valley of the entire Cape Verde Islands. Thanks to its climatic and geographical conditions, the region is primarily dedicated to agriculture.

There are plenty of options for you at Aldeia Manga, from five adobe bungalows to two large stone houses with a kitchen. Because the houses are spread out around the property and all have their own outdoor seating areas, you’ll have plenty of privacy.

Très beau très chic les bungalow sont magnifiquement situés, vue sur la merveilleuse vallée de Paul, face a l’impressionnante falaise de 850 m de haut. Prévoir une remontée de 15min à pied si vous voulez vous déplacer en aluguer. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, et l accueil hyper professionnel.

We had a lovely stay at Aldea Manga. The location in the Paul valley is spectacular, so green and quiet. Every night there is a possibility to have a home cooked diner at the lodge with good food. Perfect location to do hikes from as well. Would definitely recommend it!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dem kleinen eco Hotel. Es liegt wunderschön und der Naturteich lädt zum Schwimmen nach einem langen Wandertag ein. Die Lage ist wirklich atemberaubend! Man darf nicht zu viel Luxus erwarten (wir hatten das Gefühl manche Gäste hatten da etwas zu hohe Vorstellungen, deswegen schreibe ich das hier so), aber alles war sehr sauber und für den Preis wirklich toll! Zudem muss man bedenken, dass man wirklich super abgelegen wohnt. Das Abendessen als Buffet war sehr lecker und immer abwechslungsreich mit lecker gewürztem Fisch oder Fleisch - lieber pünktlich erscheinen, da nicht nachgelegt wird ☺️ man wird aber immer satt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, der Lieblings collective Fahrer war auch toll! Der einzige Minuspunkt für uns gilt dem Kaffee zum Frühstück, der wie wir vermuten Instant war, hier hätte uns ein Filterkaffee sehr glücklich gemacht 💜Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

One of the best places I've ever been! Magical valley, the hotel is like a little jungle paradise. With a lovely small pool, great food, a bar, friendly stuff. Can highly recommend 🙏🏼😊🇨🇻
